The pairing for Super Bowl LVII is set! Philadelphia Eagles vs. Kansas City Chiefs!

On  February 12 (3:30 p.m. Los Angeles), the NFL finals will be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona.

In an utterly insane game, the Chiefs beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in the last second. Then, the Eagles swept away the San Francisco 49ers 31-7.

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals (23:20)

Before the game, the whole football world is wondering: can quarterback Patrick Mahomes lead the Chiefs to the Super Bowl despite the ankle injury he sustained last week? Yes, the ankle holds (reasonably).

The quarterback duel clearly goes to Mahomes - despite only a fit ankle! He throws for 326 yards and scores two touchdowns. On the other hand, Burrow throws for 270 yards and a touchdown - but also two interceptions!

It starts cautiously: two field goals for the Chiefs and one field goal for the Bengals. 6:3.

Then Mahomes' first stroke of genius: the Chiefs plays the fourth attempt. The quarterback finds his congenial partner in the end zone in Kelce. Touchdown! The Chiefs go on break at 13:6.

But Joe Burrow can also do genius pranks! First, he throws the ball really high in the end zone. There, receiver Higgins climbs to the fourth floor - and catches!

Mahomes countered with a touchdown, followed by the Bengals' touchdown. It's 20:20 in the fourth quarter.

Suddenly the clock at Arrowhead Stadium went on strike! Because the clock runs a few seconds before the Chiefs' third attempt, there is excitement. The referees correct the clock. Curiously, the third attempt is repeated when the attempt is not enough for a first down. Huge chaos in the stadium, and Bengals coach Zach Taylor understandably foams. What an embarrassing incident.

This is how the thriller works: With 41 seconds left on the clock, the Chiefs regain possession of the ball. After a punt, Moore runs to the 47-yard line.

With 17 seconds left on the clock, things get really wild: Mahomes runs out with his injured ankle. Mahomes gets a good one on the cap from Bengals defender Ossai. Unsportsmanlike Conduct, 15-Yard Penalty! Ossai also injured his knee badly. Suspected cruciate ligament tear!

From this follows the excellent field position for the Chiefs: 45 yards for a field goal. Kicker Butker cleans it up. 23:20! The Chiefs are in the Super Bowl!

Philadelphia Eagles vs. San Francisco 49ers (31-7)

Rarely has a semifinal in the NFL been clearer. The 49ers keep up for a half, then they almost have to stop playing.

Because: In the 49ers, both quarterbacks are injured in the game with Mr. Irrelevant Brock Purdy and his backup Josh Johnson; with Johnson out with a concussion, Purdy has to get back on the field. But since he can't throw, the 49ers must unwrap every running play they've ever used. They don't stand a chance without a passing game against the strong Eagles!

First diagnosis after the field: injury of the ulnar collateral ligament in the elbow. Sounds painful.

Also, a reason? Before the game, 49ers fans decorated the legendary Rocky statue in Philadelphia with a jersey from their team. That didn't work at all this season.

Both the Giants and Vikings fans had done this during the regular season. But it didn't work! Both teams lost. That's why the Rocky curse is already being celebrated on social media.

Led by quarterback Jalen Hurts, the Eagles set the game's pace. Thanks to four rushing touchdowns, there is a clear victory! The Eagles run for 148 total yards.

However, Hurts only throws for 121 yards. So the 49er's pass defense is doing its job. Only with the offensive should it not work.

As a result, the Eagles fans celebrate entering the Super Bowl after the last five years, like the championship.
