DLNews Veterans Day:
Steak, Service, and Salute: Texas Roadhouse Honors Heroes This Veterans Day
INDIO, CA — On Tuesday, November 11, Texas Roadhouse will once again serve up gratitude the best way it knows how—on a plate. In honor of Veterans Day, the restaurant chain is continuing its 16th Annual “Texas-size Thank You” by offering free meal vouchers to all veterans and active-duty U.S. military members from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Proof of service—such as a military or VA card, or discharge papers—is required. Each voucher can be redeemed anytime through May 31, 2026, for one of ten entrees, including the popular 6-ounce sirloin with two made-from-scratch sides and a drink of choice—Coca-Cola product, sweet tea, iced tea, or coffee.
The Indio Texas Roadhouse, along with all other locations nationwide, will distribute vouchers at the door during the event hours. Guests are encouraged to check with their local restaurant for specific details, especially at Texas Roadhouse locations near Ft. Bliss, TX; Ft. Campbell, KY; and Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA, where offers may vary slightly.
Founded in 1993 by Kent Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky, Texas Roadhouse has grown to more than 721 locations across 49 states and 10 countries. Known for its hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, and energetic hospitality, the restaurant chain has earned multiple national honors—including Fortune Magazine’s “Most Admired Companies” (2022), USA Today’s “Customer Service Champions” (2024), and the Brand Icon Award from Nation’s Restaurant News.

For veterans, a hearty steak and a heartfelt “thank you” go hand in hand this Veterans Day—Texas Roadhouse’s way of honoring the men and women who serve and protect.
