The manager of a Walmart supermarket shot several of his employees in Chesapeake (US state of Virginia)!
"I just came out of the break room when the manager walked in there and started shooting people," Walmart employee Kevin Harper said in a video he recorded in the supermarket parking lot.
Police said six people were killed. The shooter was also found dead in the supermarket. He allegedly shot himself in the head, eyewitness Harper reported.
Around 10 p.m. local time, the first emergency calls were received. When police officers entered the supermarket, they saw several dead and at least five injured. They are all being treated in a hospital, a spokeswoman confirmed.
Firefighters, paramedics, and police were on the scene with a large contingent shortly after the first emergency calls. At the time, the supermarket was still open to customers. Rescue workers searched the complex hours later for possible victims or survivors.
