Happy Tails Adoption Update:
What happens when a homeless pet leaves the shelter? A whole new wonderful life begins for that pet. This is Tigger's Story:
Tigger and her littermates had been abandoned when a good samaritan found them. The good samaritan then brought the kittens to the safety of our Animal Samaritans' No-Kill Shelter.
After arriving at our No Kill Shelter, Tigger and her littermates received lots of love and affection from our staff and volunteers. As Animal Samaritans staff prepared the kitties for adoption, they were vet checked, microchipped and spayed. Then, after recovering from surgery, the kittens were off to play and relax in our kitten room, where they all patiently waited to meet their forever families.
Tigger's lucky day came when Faith Cooper walked through our shelter doors. When she laid eyes on Tigger, she instantly knew that Tigger was her perfect match!
After settling into her new home, Tigger's personality began to really shine! She even earned herself a new name; she's now known as Olivia.
Faith recently emailed us photos of Olivia in her new home, along with a little note. Here's what she had to say about her new furbaby:
"Hello! We adopted an orange tabby kitten (originally named Tigger) that we met and fell in love with! We decided to call her Olivia, and she has fit amazingly well into our home. She is already best buds with her big brother Oliver! She is the sweetest and most loving cat ever, and we’re happy to be her forever home." ~ Faith Cooper
Thank you, Faith, for choosing adoption!
