Hannity and Earhardt Say ‘I Do’—Without a Commercial Break
DLN Humor | A lighthearted look at a real wedding
When a morning television host marries a prime-time television host, the first challenge practically writes itself: finding a honeymoon hour when both are awake.
Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Ainsley Earhardt married October 24 in Palm Beach, Florida, turning their morning-meets-evening romance into a permanent scheduling arrangement.
Their wedding weekend began with an October 23 celebration at Mar-a-Lago attended by President Donald Trump and first lady Melania Trump, alongside family, friends and television colleagues. A gathering with that many broadcasters presents an unusual wedding-planning question: Who gets the microphone—and how do you get it back?
Hannity said the couple paid “fair market value for the venue.” Somewhere, a person comparing banquet packages could surely appreciate the familiar ritual: fall in love, choose a date, discover what chairs cost.
The ceremony followed at the Church of Bethesda-by-the-Sea, where the couple had become engaged during Christmas 2024. Earhardt wore an Oscar de la Renta gown; Hannity wore a white tuxedo jacket with black pants. A private reception followed at Palm Beach’s Everglades Club.
For viewers accustomed to seeing these two behind studio desks, the occasion offered a pleasant change of format. No panel required. No countdown clock necessary. Although any wedding toast approaching its eighth minute could probably benefit from a producer making frantic wrap-it-up gestures.
The most relatable development arrived afterward.
During a November 5 appearance on The Girls podcast, Earhardt joked that they had “no more money after the wedding.” It was a punchline with potential appeal far beyond the cable audience: wedding invoices have a remarkable ability to bring people together.
Beneath the famous guest list and formalwear was a familiar milestone: two people celebrating a new marriage with people they love.
We wish them happiness, patience and a peaceful household remote-control agreement.
