On Saturday, Nov. 2, 2024, Rock n roll poet & Outlaws folk music/roots rocker acclaimed songwriter Michael Ubaldini along with-Gram Parsons International founder Will James are presenting the 17th Annual Gram Parsons concert at The Hotel Café 2nd stage as requested by GPI for a more intimate up close night of music and community. The event begins at 7 p.m.
Gram Parsons, was an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and pianist. He recorded as a solo artist and with the International Submarine Band, the Byrds, and the Flying Burrito Brothers, popularizing what he called “Cosmic American Music,” a hybrid of country, rock, rhythm and blues, folk and soul music. He sadly passed away in Joshua Tree, California on Sept. 19, 1973. He was only 26.

This is the 2nd concert at Hotel Café – last year's fest was a great success - GPI originally started 17 years ago to get Parsons in The Country Music Hall Of Fame - which still has not happened. Some of The top West Coasts Best Roots music and country performers will be performing 30-minute sets – singing Parson's groundbreaking songs as well as their own original tunes to celebrate the past & present in the genre to show Gram's undeniable influence; $20 at the door and pre sale tickets available at Hotel Café now.
