Deal-Maker to Desert Star: Dolores Robinson Set to Shine on Palm Springs Walk of the Stars
Palm Springs is about to roll out the red carpet—again. And this time, it’s for one of Hollywood’s most powerful behind-the-scenes legends.
The Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce has announced that entertainment industry trailblazer Dolores Robinson will receive the 485th star on the iconic Palm Springs Walk of the Stars.
The public dedication ceremony will take place Friday, March 13, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at 849 N. Palm Canyon Drive in the heart of downtown Palm Springs—and if history is any guide, the crowd will be packed with fans, friends, and a few familiar Hollywood faces.
Robinson is no ordinary entertainment insider. Singled out by The Hollywood Reporter as one of Hollywood’s “Top Dealmakers,” she shattered barriers as the first Black female personal manager in film and television, guiding the careers of some of the industry’s brightest stars. Her client roster reads like a Hollywood power list, including Martin Sheen, Wesley Snipes, Pierce Brosnan, Mark Wahlberg, Jada Pinkett Smith, Mariska Hargitay, and her daughter, actress Holly Robinson Peete.

But Robinson didn’t just manage talent—she helped shape Hollywood itself. Over the decades, she executive-produced television series, partnered with legendary filmmaker Blake Edwards to form Blake Edwards Entertainment, and helped open doors for greater representation across the entertainment industry.
Her impact hasn’t gone unnoticed in the desert either. In 2019, Robinson received the Broken Glass Award from Palm Springs Women in Film & Television for her groundbreaking achievements.
Since relocating to Palm Springs, Robinson has become a passionate ambassador for the city she now calls home. She has showcased Palm Springs on national television, including appearances on the Home & Family program, and even documented her move to the desert on the reality series “Meet the Peetes.” Her message about the city is simple and heartfelt: Palm Springs is a place of joy, healing, and community.
Locally, Robinson continues to lend her energy to civic and arts initiatives across the Coachella Valley, supporting organizations such as Pegasus Ranch for children with disabilities and autism, while also mentoring students and speaking at College of the Desert.
So mark the calendar: Friday, March 13 at 1:00 p.m. Palm Canyon Drive will sparkle just a little brighter as Dolores Robinson officially takes her place among the stars—both on the sidewalk and in Hollywood history.
