The Indio City Council, City staff, residents, and construction personnel will sign their autographs on the first beam installed in the City’s new Public Safety Campus with police and fire services. The celebratory steel beam signing marks a milestone in the construction of the long-awaited project.

City Council members will tour the construction site after the ceremony.

Ground was broken in May on the future home of the $50 million campus at 46800 Jackson St. Three buildings at the site will accommodate a dispatch center, Fire Station headquarters, and administrative offices for the Police and Fire departments. The 43,000-square-foot facility is scheduled for completion in Spring 2024.
