I want to thank the folks at Desert Oasis Health Clinic in Palm Springs. They took good care of me. So professional and caring, each step explained to keep twelve fellow patients and me at ease. The place was immaculate; everyone wore a mask. The place was clean and sanitized, and it ran like clockwork.
Young nurse Esperanza E. was so gentle as she gave me my first shot of the Pfizer vaccine, I did not feel a thing. I was trying to get a selfie of this event. Still, it was too awkward to get a shot in your left arm and take a pic with my right hand, particularly with my big iPhone. Luckily for me, a young lady seated next to me offered to take a photo of this historic moment in my life. After a 15-min rest, I went home feeling a new sense of freedom.
I feel great, no pain, no funny feeling; the injection site was touch-sensitive, but only for few hours. Shot two will be on April 2. Of course, I will be careful, wear my mask and use caution. Please, to all of you, young and old friends, please get vaccinated; it is easy and safe.
