At least a dozen people were killed and more than 60 hurt in a minimum of 10 mass shootings this weekend break in the USA.
They went to places that were supposed to be safe-- however, a couple of areas in America are not guaranteed risk-free anymore.
Some went to graduation parties, a club, a prominent enjoyment area or a shopping center.
The bloodshed comes as the country grieves a spate of murders this previous month, consisting of a bloodbath at a primary school in Texas; a fatal assault at a medical center in Oklahoma; a racist rampage at a supermarket in New York; and a strike on a Taiwanese church service in The golden state.
According to the Weapon Violence Archive, the United States has experienced at least 246 mass shootings in 2022-- far more than there have been days so far in the year. That coincides with the number of mass shootings in 2021 with June 5.
In 2020, there were 161 mass shootings via June 5; in 2019, that number was 154. A mass shooting is defined as one in which a minimum of four individuals are shot, leaving out the shooter.
