(Desert Hot Springs, CA) - The Desert Hot Springs Cleanup Committee held its third event on Saturday, July 24th, at a vacant property located next to the DHS Animal Hospital starting at 6:00 p.m.
"About a dozen or more volunteers have gathered together to clean up houses and lots along Palm Drive, " said DHS Councilman Russell Betts. "It was so much fun to meet new people and make a difference cleaning up a lot at the same time," Betts added. "I think everybody had a good time."
More events are planned for the future. If you are interested in helping the city clean up your neighborhood, contact Roberta Crnic at City Hall at 760-329-6411 to sign up.
