DLNews Health:
BABY JESUS IS A TRUE MIRACLE. THIS BIRTH WARMS THE HEARTS OF THE SPANIARDS!
Little Jesus was born there on March 10th. The baby was planned eight years ago - Jesus is something extraordinary for his parents and the doctors involved.
Jesus was allowed to leave the clinic after he reached 7.05 pounds.
Because he is the first child in Spain to be born after a uterus transplant, his mother, Tamara Franco, underwent the delicate procedure at the Hospital Clínic in Barcelona three years ago.
Tamara was happy at a press conference: "It was an arduous and very nice process, and despite all the risks, it was worth it." The hospital had already obtained official permission for the procedure from ethics committees and the Ministry of Health in 2015, Spanish media reports.
In a total of five cases, the doctors then planned transplants. These were women with Rokitansky syndrome: they were born without a uterus or fallopian tubes.
Sister gave her a child.
In October 2020, the time came. Franco put himself under the knife for 20 hours as the first chosen one. A touching background: the uterus was donated to her sister! Just two months later, she got her first period - the surgery had an effect!
Now Tamara just had to get pregnant – it finally succeeded last September. She had previously endured multiple failed embryo transfers and an abortion.
However, the pregnancy was not a consistently positive time for Franco. She suffered from preeclampsia. This describes high blood pressure with increased protein excretion in the urine. It may be due to Franco's medication—the result: nausea and cramps.

The happy mother explained that she did not want more children. So the organ is to be removed again so that she does not have to take medication for life.
Because little Jesus only weighed over two pounds at birth, he first had to develop in the intensive care unit.
Now happy parents can return to their homes with their son.
