Crazy hobble win for the Kansas City Chiefs!

Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes badly injured his ankle early in the game but brawls his way through with a thick bandage — and led his team to a 27-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the NFL playoffs.

The Chiefs now meet the winner of the Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals clash in next Sunday's AFC Finals.

In the night's second game, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the New York Giants 38-7. Next Sunday's NFC Finals will see the winner of the San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys.

Kansas City Chiefs — Jacksonville Jaguars 27-20

Full Throttle Star for the Chiefs! Star quarterback Patrick Mahomes, who is most likely to be MVP of the season, passes to "favorite pass station" Travis Kelce, who has just a few more steps to run to the end zone. Touchdown!

The Jaguars strike back! Nice lob pass from playmaker Trevor Lawrence to Christian Kirk. Touchdown! He had already scored two touchdowns in the regular season against the Chiefs.

Shock moment for the Chiefs: Jaguars defender Arden Key falls on Mahomes' leg. He then holds his ankle and leaves the field. He sits on the bench and signals that he needs a tape bandage. But suddenly, he jumps up, runs back onto the field, and, limping, directs the next attack.

Insanity! He plays two running games and even a pass before being treated and taped at the quarter-break. Mahomes then comes back into play but continues to hobble quite obviously.

However, the Chiefs still send him to the dressing room for more detailed investigations. Chad Henne stands in for him. Mahomes returns but stays outside wrapped in a thick jacket — and sees how Henne is trumping! Watch out, Kelce — touchdown! "Hen, hen" chants at Arrowhead Stadium.

Huge cheers at the start of the second half! Mahomes comes back into play. Clearly, he can only put weight on one leg but still battles through.

Jaguars’ touchdown in the fourth quarter! Travis Etienne runs into the end zone. With an extra point, it is only 17:20. Is Jacksonville coming back again? Last weekend, Lawrence and company reversed a 27-0 deficit against the Los Angeles Chargers with the biggest comeback in playoff history.

Mahomes hobbles — and still does magic! His pass lands at Marquez Valdes-Scantling. Touchdown! The preliminary decision! The Jaguars can't get the curve anymore; they only create a field goal from 48 yards.

Mahomes after the game: "Everyone helped me! Everyone noticed that I couldn't move. But we all stuck together. I didn't want to leave the field. I was x-rayed, and the pictures were negative. So all good. Thanks to Chad Henne for stepping in for me.”

Touchdown King Kelce: “Patrick is a fearless leader! He gives everything - we give everything! We play a good ball at the time; we have the ultimate team."

Strong gesture: Trevor Lawrence is the first to leave the field — only to wait in the players' tunnel to high-five with all teammates and thank them for the great Jaguars season despite the loss!

Philadelphia Eagles-New York Giants 38-7

Trouble before the game for the Giants! The night before the game, a pipe burst at their hotel in Philadelphia, ESPN reports. The players, therefore, had no water and could not shower in the morning...
