Lisa Marie Presley, the only child of music legend Elvis Presley, has died. The singer lived to be only 54 years old.

Lisa Marie Presley turned 54 years old. Her mother, Priscilla, confirmed her death.

Her mother said she died Thursday after being admitted to a Los Angeles hospital earlier.

"It is with a heavy heart that I must share the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has passed away," Priscilla Presley, 77, said. Continuing, "She was the most passionate, strong, and loving woman I have ever known."

Lisa Marie Presley had been resuscitated by paramedics at her home in Calabasas (US state of California) on Thursday morning, as the US celebrity portal "TMZ" had reported. She had suffered a cardiac arrest and was put in a coma in the hospital.

Her mother, Priscilla, had confirmed the emergency on Twitter, asking for prayers and privacy for her family.

Lisa Marie Presley was the only child of Elvis and Priscilla Presley. She was married several times, including a year and a half to Michael Jackson and three months to actor Nicolas Cage.

Presley has 14-year-old twin daughters and an adult daughter, actress Riley Keough (33). Her son Benjamin Keough died in 2020 at the age of 27.

On Tuesday evening, she had still attended the Golden Globes awards gala with her mother. The US actor Austin Butler was awarded for his title role in the film "Elvis" as the best male actor in a drama.
