The twin-engine machine crashed in the middle of a golf course
DLNews Pets:
Now new families are being sought for the four-legged friends.
Not only the four-legged friends had more than one guardian angel!
When a plane crashed in Waukesha (US state Wisconsin), all passengers miraculously survived - 53 dogs and three people!
The twin-engine plane had crashed in the middle of the snow-covered green of the Western Lake golf course en route from New Orleans. Both wings were torn off when the plane crashed through the trees.

The dogs, including many puppies, were part of a planned trip by the animal welfare organization Humane Animal Welfare Society. They were to be moved from animal shelters in the southern states to sanctuaries in the Waukesha area.
The pilot and two other passengers were completely unharmed. After the accident, veterinarians also examined all dogs for medical consequences of the crash. Not only the people but also the four-legged friends have to process the psychological shock of the crash.
"It's about comforting them and caring for them," Maggie Tate-Techtmann, director of the Humane Animal Welfare Society, said at a news conference. "Each animal is different, just like us, so we will all react a little differently, but with our behavioral and medical care, I am very confident that the animals will soon be able to overcome the excitement."
And now the rescued four-legged friends are looking for a new home. All dogs will be put up for adoption in the coming days.
One of the four-legged friends has already found a loving master. Tony Wasielewski, Deputy Commander of the Waukesha Fire Department, was one of the first to rush to the crash site, took one of the cute fur babies home with him, and christened it CeeCee.
The animal rights group has also launched a fundraiser on Facebook, raising money for "unforeseen medical and other expenses resulting from this incident." Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/donate/481066557425511/501833568642687/
