Texan kidnaps "Bumble" date.
Zachary Mills (21) allegedly kidnapped a woman and abused her for five days in his apartment in Tomball, Texas. The two had arranged to meet on Christmas Eve via the dating app "Bumble."
But the date turned into a nightmare. Immediately after she arrived at his apartment, Mills wanted to sleep with her, according to the indictment - when she refused, he allegedly punched her in the face. Then, after running out of steam, he beat her with the handle of a screwdriver, according to police spokesman Mark Herman.
For five days, the Texan held his victim down. Mills allegedly sexually assaulted and bit the woman repeatedly. Only when he left the apartment to visit his father could she pick up her clothes and flee to neighbors. The woman was hospitalized with bite marks, bruises, and cuts to her nose and throat.
Police officers arrested Zachary Mills shortly after that on December 29. He was charged with kidnapping but has since been released on $50,000 bail. Currently, the suspect is under house arrest. According to his attorney, Mills and the woman had reportedly known each other for some time.
