SINGER ALREADY LOST ONE CHILD IN 2018
The absolute horror for every mother: having to bury his own child. Tina Turner (83) must go through this for the second time. In 2018, her son Craig Turner began suicide at 59. Now her second son Ronnie Turner has also died at the age of only 62.
Ike Turner and Tina Turner made music together and were a couple for a long time in their private life. Ronnie Turner was their only son together.
On Instagram, his wife Afida (45) shares, "My husband, my best friend, my baby. I did my best until the end, but I couldn't save you. I have loved you for 17 years. It's very bad. I'm very angry." She also posted several family snapshots with her husband and Tina Turner.
According to French media, Ronnie was said to have needed intensive care until the end due to Alzheimer's disease. His wife Afida, a singer, took care of him.
Ronnie was the youngest biological son of Tina Turner. He was the only child of the singer and her ex-husband Ike Turner (†76), together. The musician died of a cocaine overdose in 2007.
"This is such a tragedy with you and your father and your brother Craig," Ronnie's wife Afida continued to write on social media. "Now you are reunited. Rest in peace. This is so unfair."
When Tina's son Craig died four years ago, the vocal wonder shared on Instagram, "My saddest moment as a mom. He was 59 years old when he died so tragically, but he will always be my baby." She posted a photo of a rose falling into the sea to accompany it.
The singer has not yet commented on her recent loss.
