Cormac Roth, the son of "Pulp Fiction" star Tim Roth (61), died at just 25. He succumbed to cancer.
His family confirmed his death in a statement that was published, among other things, in the industry magazine "Variety." Accordingly, the 25-year-old died on October 16.
Cormac Roth was a "bundle of energy" whose "spirit was filled with light and goodness," the family said in a statement. "The sadness comes in waves, as do the tears and laughter as we think of this beautiful boy we have known for 25 years and 10 months."
Cormac is from Tim Roth's marriage to Nikki Butler. The couple has been married since 1993 and has one other son, Hunter (27).
Cormac Roth was a guitarist, composer, and producer. In July, he made his cancer public on his Instagram profile.
Since his diagnosis in November 2021, he has battled the disease daily with chemotherapy, medication, transfusions, surgery, and more.
"It's choriocarcinoma; it's rare and has managed to stay ahead of me no matter what I throw at it," Roth wrote at the time. As a result, he lost part of his hearing and a lot of weight. But he continued to make music.
On Instagram, the musician warned: "Please ensure you do the things you love. Life is short. It's messy. And you never know when it will hit you."
