As the NFC's number 1 seed (12 wins, five losses in the regular season), the 49ers had the first week of the playoffs off. In the second divisional round, the team had to prevail against the Green Bay Packers (24:21).
After the Packer’s victory, the biggest challenge of the NFL season followed in the conference championship game. Against the Detroit Lions, San Francisco had to overcome a 7:24 halftime deficit. As the star offensive ensemble leader, quarterback Brock Purdy kept his nerves and led his team to a 34:31. It was a vital comeback victory, and the team ended up in the Super Bowl for the second time in four years!
