The Mavericks have just announced the release of the band's 13th studio album, Moon & Stars, coming May 17, 2024 via Mono Mundo Records / Thirty Tigers.

The new album will follow-up The Mavericks' 2020 release En Español and will mark their first original English-language album in seven years.

"This 11-song collection represents a journey of reflection, introspection, patience, learning and evolving," the band said in a statement in connection with the album announcement. "Some of these songs were written years ago, but they weren't ready then. Or maybe we weren't. We are now...."

Hear the first single and title track featuring Sierra Ferrell; fans can preorder the album on audio CD, vinyl or digital download beginning this Friday, March 1, 2024.
