Larry and Betty Petree were married for more than 60 years.
JTFMax:
What a tragic death.
Musician Larry Petree (88) and his wife Betty were found dead. They died in California's Mojave Desert. The reason was a tragic accident. They wanted to cross the lifeless land in their car when they ran out of gas, and the couple was stranded.
In the lonely desert, help was far away. Too far. Larry and Betty were both found in their vehicle. The musician is in the driver's seat, his wife leaning against the rear tire, reports the New York Post.
At "Death Valley," there is a warning of extreme heat. Temperatures can also reach 122 degrees (50 degrees Celsius.)
The Kern County Sheriff's Office does not believe a violent crime has occurred. The Mojave Desert covers 113,300 square kilometers and is located in the territory of the US states of California and Nevada. The legendary "Death Valley" is also located in this desert.
