Los Angeles, CA – Mike Love, The Beach Boys's celebrated co-founder and chief lyricist, has officially been inducted into the prestigious Songwriters Hall of Fame. This exciting recognition reflects his profound impact on American music. The induction ceremony will occur during the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame Induction and Awards Gala, scheduled for Thursday, June 12th, at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

As a key lyricist and vocalist for The Beach Boys, Mike Love has penned some of the most iconic hits in music history. His songwriting has been at the core of timeless classics that embody the spirit of a generation, including beloved tracks like "California Girls," "Good Vibrations," "The Warmth of the Sun," "I Get Around," and "Fun, Fun, Fun." These songs have made a lasting impact on pop culture and continue to delight audiences all over the globe.

Reacting to this honor, Mike Love stated, "To be recognized by the Songwriters Hall of Fame is an extraordinary honor. Songwriting has been a deeply personal part of my life, and to be celebrated among such remarkable talents is truly humbling." Nile Rodgers, the Chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, commended this year’s inductees by stating, "These songwriters have enriched the lives of billions of listeners. Founded in 1969, the Songwriters Hall of Fame recognizes the art of songwriting and preserves the legacy of its most influential contributors while fostering up-and-coming songwriters. Songwriters need an impressive body of work to qualify for induction, including at least 20 years since their first commercial release.
