Hello, my name is Kaden Cross. I am eighteen and recently graduated from Desert Hot Springs High School. I am now going to school locally at College of the Desert and am working as a tour guide at the Sunnylands Estate and Gardens.
I am running for the Palm Springs Unified School District Board of Education seat for Trustee Area 5. I am indeed the youngest person to run for this position. If elected, I will be one of the youngest elected officials in California.
As a student, I felt ignored and neglected by the board, and I am now fighting to represent Desert Hot Springs and our local public schools. I am fighting to create the change and progress that our teachers, students, and parents deserve and that I want to see in our community.
I am running mainly on a campaign of transparency, availability, and community involvement.
