MORONGO CASINO RESORT & SPA – Experience the chart-topping hits of legendary Norteño singer Julio Preciado as he takes the stage at Morongo Casino Resort & Spa on Thursday, August 17. Hailing from Sinaloa, Mexico, Preciado discovered his passion for music at a young age, dreaming of working with celebrated artists such as Jose Jose. He started his career as a nightclub performer, networking with other musicians and eventually joining Banda Tiburon alongside famous bands Banda Limon and Banda El Recodo.
With Banda El Recodo, he recorded eight albums as the lead vocalist in his six-year stint with them. After leaving the band, Preciado formed Banda Perla del Pacifico and showcased his talent in various styles, including ballads, rancheras, boleros, cumbias, and salsa. His fourth album, "Como Este Loco," was a massive hit, earning gold and platinum status both in Mexico and the USA, with popular tracks like "No Me Digas Que Te Vas" and "Mira Nomas."
Morongo's Executive Director of Marketing, Simon Farmer, expressed his excitement in welcoming Preciado's diverse and popular styles to the venue, stating that Preciado is a remarkable musician able to master several distinct musical genres.
Fans can enjoy the show by purchasing tickets through Ticketmaster for $69. Doors open at 7:30 p.m., and the show starts at 9:00 p.m.
