In a dramatic twist, Matt Gaetz, one of the most polarizing figures in Trump's political orbit, officially withdrew his bid for U.S. Attorney General in the upcoming Trump-Vance administration. Gaetz, 42, announced his decision following a storm of controversy and mounting resistance within Washington.

“We don’t have time for an unnecessary, long dispute in Washington,” Gaetz explained, framing his exit as a move to prevent distractions during the administration’s crucial transition. However, insiders suggest the decision wasn’t entirely voluntary.
