DLNews Sport:
HE WAS ON HIS WAY TO THE NEXT GAME
Something is apt to be amiss when Xavier Babudar is absent from a Kansas City Chiefs game. So when the NFL superfan didn't show up for his Chiefs' game at the Houston Texans (30-24 after overtime)on Sunday, other fans immediately sensed something was amiss.
Babudar was reportedly on his way to the Chiefs game in Houston
The reason for his absence, however, knocks everyone's socks off! As reported by the New York Post, Babudar was arrested two days before the game in Tulsa County, Oklahoma - because he was caught red-handed in an armed bank robbery and booked directly.
Babudar, who always comes to his Chiefs' games in a wolf costume and is therefore known to every NFL fan, was arrested "armed and with a large amount of cash," according to the Bixby police. An eyewitness had notified the police. According to the report, employees and customers of the bank were not injured.
Police booked Babudar; his bail is $200,000
Striking: from the moment of the arrest, the social media channels of the noble fan also fell silent. After learning of the bank robbery, the Chief's fan community was certain: Babudar must have already been on his way to the game in Houston. The crime scene in Bixby is more than 770 kilometers north of the game site in Houston.
Babudar himself has not yet commented on the charges. His bail was set at $200,000. So Christmas and the last games of the Regular Season will miss the Chiefs-Wolf.
After the 15th game day, the Super Bowl winner of 2019, around superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes (27), leads their division (AFC West) as usual sovereign.
