Dwight Yoakam, who has been on the road lately with The Mavericks, confirms his first album of new music in nine years.
Brighter Days is set for release November 15 through Via Records/Thirty Tigers. Pre-order/pre-save Brighter Days HERE.
The first single is “I Don’t Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom)” with Post Malone. Listen to the song, penned specifically by Yoakam for a collaboration with Post Malone, HERE - a video is coming soon.
Written and recorded over the last three years, Brighter Days features 12 new songs written/co-written by Yoakam, as well as two covers: “Keeping On The Sunny Side” by the Carter Family and “Bound Away” by Cake.
Yoakam self-produced Brighter Days; Chris Lord-Alge served as engineer.
The artists starts another round of North American tour dates on September 13 in Arkansas.
