Not only can 90s kids rap along to the legendary beginning of Coolio's world hit "Gangsta's Paradise."
The musician, whose real name was Artis Leon Ivey Jr. († 59), says: "As I walk through the valley of the shadow of the dead / I look at my life and realize that there is not much left of it."
After Coolio's death, these lines give you goosebumps!
While the song on Spotify and Co. is likely to rotate in a loop for the next few days, new details about the death of the 59-year-old come to light.
As "TMZ" reports, emergency doctors fought for the life of the American for a total of 45 minutes. But cardiopulmonary resuscitation was unsuccessful.
Coolio had previously gone to a buddy's toilet. At some point, the friend worried because the rapper wouldn't come out of the bathroom anymore. After finding him lying lifeless on the ground, he called 911.
Coolio's agent said that the 59-year-old probably suffered a heart attack. However, that is still unconfirmed.
The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the death. No drugs are said to have been found in the house where the rapper collapsed.
Then it is also clarified whether the cause of death was a heart attack.
