Coachella Valley Filipino Festival Postponed to Saturday, November 22 Due to Severe Weather Forecast
Palm Springs, CA — The Coachella Valley Filipino Festival (CVFF) has announced a postponement from Saturday, November 15, to Saturday, November 22, due to forecasted severe weather affecting the Coachella Valley this weekend. The event will still be held at the Palm Springs Downtown Park, near the Forever Marilyn statue, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm Festival Organizer Michael Milan stated, “While CVFF is usually rain-or-shine, the latest forecast indicates unsafe conditions for attendees, vendors, and performers.” The festival will still feature live performances, food and retail vendors, cultural showcases, and community art activities celebrating Filipino American heritage and creativity in the desert region.
