We seek a way to make life easier for those without vision. Join us at Braille Institute Coachella Valley's 1-day Holiday Pop-Up Shop on Monday, December 11, 2023, from 1 pm to 3 pm. We'll be showcasing a variety of handmade crafts and valuable everyday items designed to assist those with low vision, and we're excited to team up with GiftedBack and Vistas representatives for this special event.
Plus, the Pop-Up Shop is free to attend and requires no reservations. Our bilingual staff will help you find everything you need, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you need help. For more information, please give us a call at 760-321-1111.
At the Vistas Pop-Up Shop, you'll find a wide selection of items made specifically for individuals with low vision. Whether you need a white cane, talking watch, kitchen accessory, writing aid, or game, we've got you covered. At the GiftedBack Pop-Up Shop, you can shop for unique holiday gifts made by gifted blind artists, crafters, and knitters. Every item sold at GiftedBack supports independent blind and visually impaired artists and gives back to the art community.
Amy J. Sand, Regional Manager of Braille Institute Coachella Valley, knows that selecting items for the visually impaired can sometimes be confusing or complicated. That's why we created these pop-up shops - to help remove the stress of purchasing items that can improve the quality of life for those with diminished vision. We're thrilled to offer a hands-on opportunity for you to try out Vistas items before you make a purchase, and we're honored to team up with GiftedBack to showcase the outstanding arts and crafts created by blind and visually impaired artists. This pre-holiday event will become an annual tradition; we can't wait to share it with you.
