Palm Springs, California – Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is holding a job fair to help tenants fill more than 60 open positions at the airport in preparation for the upcoming tourist season, which PSP is expecting to be the busiest on record.
A dozen companies, from airlines to restaurants to rental cars, are looking to fill many full-time and part-time positions. Available positions include airline passenger and ramp service, aircraft line service, rental car account specialists, retail sales associates, shift supervisors, cooks, servers, and security. There are even volunteer opportunities with the Bob Hope USO.
"Our tenants are looking to fill dozens of positions at the airport," said Victoria Carpenter, Finance & Administration Manager at PSP. "We organized this job fair to ensure that the airport and our tenants are ready for the upcoming tourist season, which we expect to be the busiest on record. As a result, there are plenty of job opportunities for those wanting to work in the fun and unique airport environment."
The airport requests that applicants bring many resumes, as several companies offer on-the-spot interviews. However, jobseekers should also plan to arrive early to have the best chance at their preferred career opportunity.
The airport job fair will be at the Palm Springs Convention Center on October 25, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Potential applicants may find more information and links to apply online at PalmSpringsAirport.com/Work.Applicants that apply online are encouraged to attend in person as well.
