911 SYSTEM FULLY RESTORED

The 911 system in the eastern region of Riverside County experienced interruptions last week. This statement from the County of Riverside clarifies that the system is now fully restored as of this afternoon. However, some cell phone carriers were still experiencing interruptions earlier today.

Supervisor V. Manuel Perez made this announcement in coordination with the Riverside County Executive Office and public safety departments. The Sheriff's Office has posted messages on social media accounts regarding the outage, while the county has sent out two AlertRivCo messages to inform residents.
