The Board of Directors for the Morongo Basin's all-volunteer, non-profit Community Theater organization, Theatre 29, held their yearly reorganization meeting on December 13, 2022, and elected new officers, Board Members, and committee chairs for 2023.
Elected for two-year terms (2023-2024) were Incumbents Tera Bottorff, Jayme Bateman, Kathryn Ferguson and newcomers Liyan McNeltier, and John Pollnow.
Gary Daigneault was reelected as President of the Theatre 29 Board of Directors for 2023.
They will join incumbent Board members (2022-2023) Cindy Daigneault, Gary Daigneault, Lisa Goldberg, Ian Ferris, and Betty Thrasher. In addition, Patti Brown was elected to fill a vacancy for a one-year seat. While taking on substantial extra responsibilities, board members serve as volunteers without compensation.
Long-time volunteers Charles Harvey and Jericho McNeltier were named ex-officio board members with specific areas of responsibility.
In reorganizing for 2023, for the Executive Board, the Board of Directors voted unanimously to reelect Gary Daigneault as the Board President. In addition, John Pollnow was named Vice-President, Lisa Goldberg Board Secretary, and Tera Bottorff Treasurer.
President Daigneault then made board committee appointments, which were approved by the entire Board as per the Theater 29 by-laws.

Improv Troupe – Jericho McNeltier (ex officio)
The mission of Theatre 29 is: “To bring quality, family-oriented Theater to Twentynine Palms while offering opportunities for our children and citizens to experience the live arts.”
For 2023, In addition to Dramas, Comedies, and Musicals, Theatre 29 plans to offer their wildly successful Summer Youth Theater Children's program, workshops and performances of the "Rotating Players" Improv troupe, and the 6th year for themed Musical Revue shows.
Ticket prices for 2023 are unchanged at:
Regular Admission - $15.00
Seniors and Military - $12.00
Children under 12 and Students with ID - $10.00
Student Rush - standby only, with ID, 5 minutes before curtain - $1.00
A service fee of $2.50, charged by the Box Office vendor, will be passed on to patrons.
