Palm Springs Animal Shelter is hosting a heartwarming event just in time to bring extra joy to the Easter season 2025—The Big Dog Bonanza! From April 25th through the 27th, our community can become heroes for loving large dogs awaiting their forever homes.

The shelter is now filled, and many beautiful big dogs are eager to meet families ready to share their love. Palm Springs Animal Shelter will waive all adoption fees for large dogs during this special event to make the decision even easier and more rewarding.

But the generosity doesn't stop there! Thanks to the kindness of Lucy Pet Food, every big-hearted family adopting a large dog will also receive six months of free pet food, ensuring your new furry family member has a nutritious and tasty start in their forever home. Additionally, each adopted dog will receive a full year of complimentary vaccinations, helping you keep your new best friend healthy and happy.

NBC Palm Springs is raising awareness by broadcasting live directly from the shelter. They'll highlight the urgent situation, share stories of these wonderful dogs, and provide information on how the community can support and participate in giving these amazing pets the homes they deserve.
