Like a superhero - Trump obviously likes to see himself like that
Ex-adviser Bannon: 'I can't anymore.'
Trump in the boxing ring: This is how the ex-president wants to show his strength
Long and loyal companions of former US President Donald Trump are turning away from him – even close advisor and former chief strategist Steve Bannon (69) has had enough of him!
Reason: Trump's embarrassing PR disaster on Thursday.
Wild West Sherriff Star - for $99, this "work of art" can be yours
The ex-US President had made a "huge announcement" – only to announce that he was now selling digital trading cards – from himself!
The so-called NFTs show Trump in various disguises: as a glowing superhero with firm abs and laser-illuminated eyes, Trump as a boxer, Trump as a sheriff, and as an astronaut - for a whopping $99 each.
This is also supposed to be a collector's item: Trump as an astronaut.
"ART from my life and my career," Trump advertised the NFTs in the "Truth Social" social network and promised: Anyone who buys 45 virtual trading cards can join him at a dinner in Mar-a-Lago.
His ex-adviser Steve Bannon was shocked: "I can't do it anymore," he said on Thursday on his show "The War Room." He emphasized that Trump is still "one of the greatest presidents in history." He still "loves" the people who work for him, including his communications team - but they need to be fired.
"We are at war. They should be fired today,” Bannon said firmly.
"Whoever came up with this ad idea should be fired and never involved in any part of Trump's 2024 campaign," said another former Trump adviser, Sebastian Gorka.
Trump's latest stunt "should never have happened," said another talk guest.
Trump's adviser Steve Cortes went further, calling for the "dismissal of everyone" helping Trump at his Mar-a-Lago estate, not just those involved in the trading card release.
