Suzanne Somers had already beaten cancer at least twice.
Suzanne Somers had beaten cancer several times in her life. She was diagnosed with skin cancer around 40 years ago and breast cancer for the first time in her 50s. “I have lived with cancer since my 20s. And every time that little bastard shows up, I fight back," Somers told Entertainment Tonight in July.
She fought bravely for many years. “I am doing my best not to let this insidious disease control me,” Somers added. Despite the difficult times, the actress did not let the illness take away her joy in life.
Suzanne was best known for her roles as Chrissy Snow in “Three’s Company” (1977-1981) and Carol Foster Lambert in “Step by Step” (1991-1998). She has published over 25 books and was on the New York Times bestseller list.
Suzanne Somers also became known in the beauty industry, including with her “ThighMaster” fitness equipment.
