World star Céline Dion (55) has not been seen in public for a long time. After over three years, the singer, who suffers from stiff person syndrome, took part in a big event again for the first time - and looked good, happy and relaxed.
At the end of 2022, Céline Dion announced that she was suffering from the incurable nervous disease Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS). Since then, people have been worried about the famous singer.
Dion attended a Montreal Canadiens hockey game in Las Vegas on Monday with her three sons (René-Charles, 22, and twins Nelson and Eddy, 13)
First, she watched the game with her children, and then, in a good mood, she went to the players' locker room, where souvenir photos were taken.
Céline Dion shared a few of the beautiful snapshots on her Instagram page.
She wrote: “My boys and I had so much fun visiting the Montreal Canadiens after their hockey game against the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas on Monday night. They played so well, what a match!! Thanks for meeting with us after the game, guys! That was an unforgettable experience for all of us. Have a great season!”
The Canadian singer's hometown club also proudly shared a short clip of the moving meeting with the global star on "X" (formerly Twitter). It also shows Dion warmly greeted and hugged by Martin St. Louis (48), the Canadiens head coach.
Since Céline Dion announced in a moving video at the end of 2022 that she was suffering from a rare autoimmune disease, stiff person syndrome, and therefore canceled her “Courage” world tour, her fans have been apprehensive about her.
Stiff person syndrome, considered incurable, causes severe and persistent muscle spasms in the back and legs, causing the muscles to stiffen. Her sister Claudette (74) later said: “We can’t find anything to help her.”
Chantal Machabée (59), vice president of communications for the Montreal Canadiens, raved about Dion's "great visit to our game in Vegas" on Instagram.
She also wrote about a shared photo: “The whole team was pleased to get to know you and your family.”
Grammy winner Céline Dion met with her home team on Monday after the Montreal Canadiens game against the Vegas Golden Knights at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
"You look beautiful."
Her fans are now pleased to see the singer in such good shape.
“You look stunning; our hearts are happy to see you like this,” wrote Céline Dion on Instagram. “It's such a relief that you look so healthy. We missed you so much”! Thank you, Celine.”
