JTFMax:
UNANNOUNCED AND UNUSUAL
Elizabeth II is the head of state in the United Kingdom, the longest reigning monarch ever. To the world, she is "the Queen." She is that for her son too, but much more than that...
Prince Charles (73) is currently visiting his mother every day. As the British "Sun" reports, the heir to the throne visits Elizabeth II's (96) estate in Balmoral every morning.
So far, so ordinary? Not really.
Because according to royal experts, Charles does not announce his visits. Unplanned home visits are highly unusual for the royals - clearly indicating that Charles is worried about his mother's health.
As every year, the Queen spends her summer holiday in Scotland. But this year, she is not staying in the giant castle as usual but in the Cottage Craigowan Lodge. According to British media, the Cottage has been adapted to accommodate their limited mobility.
The 96-year-old Queen suffers from mobility problems, can no longer walk, and has had to cancel many public appointments. Instead, she was often represented by her son and heir to the throne, Charles.
But the monarch does not want to miss one date in September: the appointment of the new Prime Minister of Great Britain after Boris Johnson resigned.
However, she will not travel to London for this, but the new prime minister will visit her in Scotland for the first time in the history of her reign.
And Prince Charles will undoubtedly stand by her side too...
