Down: Quarterback Josh Allen sensationally flies out of the NFL playoffs with the Buffalo Bills.
DLNews Sports:
Now only one win away from the Super Bowl!
The final four teams in the NFL playoffs have been determined. The Cincinnati Bengals surprisingly knocked out mega-favorite Buffalo Bills by 27:10 and will meet the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC final next Sunday. What a playoff shocker!
The San Francisco 49ers beat the Dallas Cowboys 19:12 in the all-time NFL classic and will play next Sunday in the NFC finals with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Super Bowl LVII 2023 will be at 3:30 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2023, in Glendale (Arizona).
Buffalo Bills-Cincinnati Bengals 10:27
A lovely moment before the game: Damar Hamlin, the Bills star who suffered a cardiac arrest on the pitch against the Bengals on January 3, is at the stadium. He is driven up in a golf cart and then watches the game in a box with his mum and little brother.
When the TV cameras caught him and showed him on the video screen in the stadium, the fans freaked out. Hamlin is standing by the window and making a heart with his hands.
The Bengals are off to a fantastic start! Two touchdowns from Ja'marr Chase and Hayden Hurst and two extra points from Evan McPherson give the visitors a 14-0 lead.
The Bills come into play heavily in the snow flurry! Josh Allen brings his team in with a quarterback sneak. After he has heaved himself into the end zone, there is a war of words and minor skirmishes with the Bengal's defense.
What a mega pass! Joe Burrow tailor fires the ball into the end zone — great catch by Chase. The video referee examines the scene for minutes. It is discovered that he no longer has 100% control of the ball when it hits the ground—a very tricky decision. No touchdown! Instead, there is only one field goal.
Mega Laughs: A failed burrow pass is casually caught with one hand — by a photographer!
The next wild scene: Stefon Diggs is pushed and accidentally knocks out a photographer standing on the sidelines.
Bang, bang, Bengals! The Bengals add a touchdown from Joe Mixon, two field goals, and an extra point from McPherson — that's the ticket to the AFC Finals!
On the other hand, the Bills were heavy favorites to win the top duel against the Bengals Diggs is totally frustrated, grumbling at quarterback Allen on the sidelines, raising his arms questioningly. After the game, Diggs is seen stomping out of the locker room in half-game gear, wanting to disappear. Several people then persuade him to return to the booth...
San Francisco 49ers-Dallas Cowboys 19:12
The Cowboys make the first touchdown of the game through Dalton Schultz. This puts Dallas in the lead after Robbie Gould led the hosts to a field goal. Brett Maher blew his fifth extra point in the second playoff game.
Bitter for Dallas: In the second quarter, Tony Pollard seriously injured his ankle and had to be driven out of the stadium...
But Gould remains steady! With two field goals, he shoots the 49ers 9-6 ahead. And Maher? He finally scores again and equalizes.
Then it's the turn of the 49ers again! Christian McCaffrey runs undisturbed to the touchdown. Gould adds an extra point and a field goal. That's enough to win for the squad around rookie quarterback Brock Purdy.
