Shock images from the US state of Florida!
Over the weekend, around 15 supporters of presidential candidate Ron DeSantis (44, Republican) gathered in front of the Disneyworld amusement park in Orlando. Unbelievable: a large part of them waved huge flags with swastikas!
Others held up pictures of DeSantis - currently governor of Florida. After two hours, the demonstration was broken up by the police. According to a spokesman, there were no arrests.
We know these groups aim to incite against people with anti-Semitic symbols and insults. They are also mindful of the law," a press statement said. It continues, "The Orange County Sheriff's Office deplores hate speech in any form, but people have the right to demonstrate under the First Amendment."

What's behind the neo-Nazi scandal?
A feud between Disney and DeSantis has been raging for over a year. It was triggered by the so-called "Don't Say Gay" law, according to which it should be forbidden in schools to talk to children about sexual orientation and gender identity. Disney's corporate leadership had publicly positioned itself against the Republican governor's law.
For DeSantis, it was a thorn in the side. He was outraged at the California company, which pays low taxes because of a particular rule, among other things. He urged Disney to give up these privileges. Otherwise, it might build a prison for felons next to Disneyworld in Orlando.
Further, according to DeSantis, the company has imposed on its visitors for far too long to wear a mask during Corona time. With the demonstration over the weekend, DeSantis supporters had now also turned against Disney.
Anna Eskamani, a Democrat and member of the Florida House of Representatives, responded on Twitter, "It's disgusting to see how visible Nazis have become in Florida, and it's even more disturbing to see them holding up signs and flags supporting people like Governor DeSantis."
He continued, "Every person, regardless of their political ideology.
