A girl was killed in the USA because of a sweet and sour sauce dispute. The Washington Post, among others, reports on this.
Accordingly, Naima Liggon (16) was out with friends on Friday, and the girl wanted to eat something at night. The group drove to a McDonald's restaurant in an entertainment district in Washington, D.C.
Naima Liggon was stabbed to death in a dispute over sweet and sour sauce; the teenager was just 16 years old.
The trouble broke out around 2 a.m. According to Detective Brendan Jasper, in a hearing, Liggon and a friend first beat a third girl. Video footage shows that the hit woman stabbed her opponent as she tried to get into a car. The stabs with a knife blade almost 20 centimeters long went into the chest and stomach.
While Naima Liggon was pronounced dead in a hospital, investigators were able to arrest the suspected stabber at her home. The 16-year-old, whose identity is being kept secret for her protection, has already been brought before a judge. The charge is second-degree murder, equivalent to manslaughter under our legal system. The accused pleads not guilty.
At the hearing, the public prosecutor told the defendant: "You were the only one who brought a knife to a fistfight." The judge said soberly, "In the end, someone died because of a sauce."
The stabbed girl would have had her first day of school at the senior high school on Monday. The school principal described the incident to parents and students as "heartbreaking and tragic." Pastors were on duty.
Naima Liggon is the 13th victim under 18 to be killed in Washington, D.C., this year. Was killed. The number of violent crimes committed by minors is in the hundreds.
