The event began with video clips from his movies, and fans cheered as their favorite film moments played. He started the show by thanking the audience for supporting his films and tonight's performance. He mentioned that the band Kevin Costner and Modern West would mainly perform original songs.

He stood on stage with a beard and mustache but without a cowboy hat this time. One of the songs was about his dad, and he mentioned that his father started advising him when he was as young as six years old. He talked about how his father would be embarrassed if he failed as a director, so he didn't inform him that he was returning to music, which was his first love. He seemed genuinely humbled and was glad to see so many people at his concert, showcasing the talents of his band members as each gave a fantastic solo performance.

Costner mentioned that he wrote one of the songs while making a movie, noting that most songs are about his experiences or family. The songs included "Red River," "Ashes," "90 Miles," "Give a Little Love," and "Can't Do This Without You," to name just a few. They concluded with an encore of "Hey Man" and a medley of songs.
