Are they looking for something fun to do? Well, you're in luck! Desert Hot Springs is throwing a fantastic event to celebrate their 60th anniversary. It's a free community gathering with live music, a beer garden, face painting, and many vendors to check out. It sounds like a fantastic time!!

Mayor Scott Matas released a statement inviting you and your loved ones to commemorate a significant event. The celebration aims to honor our history and the close connections we've formed in our community.

The much-awaited festivities are set to begin on September 17th at the picturesque Mission Springs Park at 14510 Palm Drive. The event will commence at 2 p.m. and promises to be a treat for all attendees. The highlight of the occasion will be the scintillating performances by Ozomatli, a renowned Grammy award-winning rock band, and Las Tias, a talented duo from the Coachella Valley. With such incredible entertainment scheduled, it will surely be an unforgettable experience for everyone attending.

Please note that parking may be challenging due to the limited space and the expected large crowd. To avoid the stress of finding a parking spot, we recommend taking advantage of our complimentary shuttle service from Desert Hot Springs High School at 65850 Pierson Blvd, providing a comfortable ride to the event venue.

The shuttle service will be running between 2:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. If you prefer to drive, parking is available at the Desert Hot Springs Library at 14380 Palm Dr. or the Riverside County Behavioral Health at 14320 Palm Dr. We highly recommend coordinating with friends, family, or colleagues to carpool and enjoy the ride together. We aim to provide an outstanding experience for everyone attending the event, and we appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
