DLNews Entertainment:
The death mystery surrounding “Friends” star Matthew Perry († 54). The series favorite was found lifeless in the jacuzzi of his luxury property in Los Angeles on October 28th. Around 4 p.m. local time, an employee found him in the afternoon and called 911. What exactly happened is now being investigated.
The last Instagram photo shows Matthew Perry in his jacuzzi. He was found dead at this location just days later.
Nothing further is known about the cause of death yet. However, according to police, foul play has been ruled out. As the celebrity portal TMZ reports, antidepressants, sedatives, and a drug for COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) were found in the late actor's house.
This weekend shot shows Matthew Perry's patio and garden pool landscape. You can still see an empty box from a new television he had just bought.
But according to his neighbors, the Hollywood star has been in a perfect mood for the past few weeks, and there have been no signs of this tragedy.
The “Friends” star’s luxury estate in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Pacific Palisades is on site! Perry bought a dream house here in August 2020 for six million US dollars and had it extensively renovated to the last detail.
Claudio thought it was cool that a real “Friends” star moved in next to him. But the neighborhood friendship only lasted a short time.
The actor's death also saddened Matthew Perry's youngest fans. Like Claudio (13) - he puts a pumpkin he carved in front of his famous neighbor's door. The teenager says: “He only recently moved in here. I live just a few doors down with my parents and brother, and I was so excited because he was my favorite character on 'Friends.' Claudio reveals: “He also had a good sense of humor in his private life and was a great guy. I will always remember him as Matt-Man (reference to Batman, editor's note) because that's how he introduced himself to me. He told me he was a big Batman fan. I woke up sad, but I think he’s doing better now where he is.”
Police officers initially cordoned off Perry's property on Saturday, and the actor's body was then removed on Sunday.
While Claudio prays with his family in front of the "Friends" actor's front gate, neighbor Nancy stays away from the media hustle and bustle. As she explains while walking her dog, she lives next to Matthew Perry and occupies the neighboring property. She hides her tears behind oversized black sunglasses and doesn't want to be photographed. Nancy explains in a shaky voice, “He only moved in here two weeks ago. The garage door was installed at the beginning of the month. It's all very, very terrible. The house's renovation has just been completed, and he has created a dream home with the best view over the ocean. And now this message…”
Matthew posted this photo about a week ago: He had the Batman bat logo installed on the bottom of his pool with a view over L.A.
Nancy continues: “Yesterday, he played pickleball for two hours before hitting the hot tub. He's been doing very well lately, from what I've heard. I, therefore, believe that his heart couldn't take the strain, and he died a natural death. He already had problems with his heart.”
The famous “Friends” ran on the TV sets of millions of fans between 1994 and 2004: (from left) Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, and Matt LeBlanc.
She concluded with tears about the 54-year-old: “He was always very friendly and accommodating when we crossed paths. I wanted to bring him a welcome basket one day to welcome him to the neighborhood officially. This is no longer possible. I don't know what to say. It’s a tragedy.”
