The 15th Annual Chili Tasting and Car Show took place on Saturday, the 26th. Hundreds of attendees gathered to sample various chili options. The menu included hot, spicy, sweet, meatless, meaty, and sweet-and-sour chili. A total of 14 different chili stations were set up, and a one-dollar ticket allowed guests to taste each one, making it a challenge to decide which to sample. The Palm Springs Air Museum was filled with delightful aromas wafting from the food.

However, the attraction was not limited to just chili; the display of classic cars captivated visitors, making it difficult to choose a favorite. The cars gleamed under the sun, showcasing their polished exteriors and spotless engines. The collection featured both vintage and modern cars, as well as specialty models. Guests strolled around, admiring the stunning vehicles on show, with some even available for sale, making them popular items on many wish lists. The scene was further enhanced by the presence of numerous vintage airplanes in the vicinity.

This event embraced a Halloween theme, with one car displaying skeletons in the front seat, while others were adorned with Halloween decorations. The chili tables showcased festive Halloween-themed tablecloths as well. Proceeds from the event will support the dedicated volunteers of the Palm Springs Air Museum, highlighting the extensive effort needed to maintain the museum as a remarkable destination for visitors.
