Angus T. Jones (29 today) became world famous at the age of nine as "Jake Harper" in the sitcom "Two and a Half Men." The series is about the life of the two brothers, Charlie (Charlie Sheen, 57), Alan Harper (Jon Cryer, 58), and Alan's son Jake.

The series quickly gained cult status, as did the main actors. Jake Harper is an underperforming, unmotivated student who is more interested in food, women, and television than in school.

Angus T. Jones, who grew up with and in the sitcom, played the role so well that he was paid quite handsomely for it: Jones raked in $350,000 per episode, making him the wealthiest child star in the world for many years!

However, it was suddenly over after almost ten years - with quite a bang!

In a ten-minute Internet video, Jones declared that he had found God and called "Two and a Half Men" "dirt." He asked all viewers to stop watching the series from now on.

"People say it is just entertainment," Jones continued. “Do some research on the effects of television on your brain, and I promise you that when it comes to television, you have a choice to make. Especially with what you are looking at.”

When these statements became known, Season 10 was in production – Jones' contract was not renewed for Season 11.

The former world star has avoided the public since he left "Two and a Half Men." He studied in Colorado, and 2016, he joined the production company "Tonite," which belongs to rapper Sean Combs (53, "P. Diddy").

Only now and then, like on the way to lunch, does the public accidentally catch a glimpse of the TV favorite from back then. However, like in “Two and a Half Men,” we will never see him again.
