His gun had swastikas on it. Racist shoots three black people in Florida

In Jacksonville (Florida), a racist shot dead three black people on Saturday. The perpetrator stormed a cheap shop with a pistol and an assault rifle, killing two men and a woman. Then he took his own life.

The shooter, who was in his early 20s according to police, had written several racist manifestos before the crime. "He hated black people," said Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters. The sheriff did not reveal a name.

One thing is sure: the killer lived with his parents. Just before he committed his murders, he called his father and told him to take a look at his computer. Shortly after that, the father alerted the police.

But by then, it was already too late. The perpetrator first hung around near a university founded for black students. He wasn't ready for his ruthless murders because a security guard drove the man off the premises.

He was later seen putting on a mask and bulletproof vest. The university's security service called the police but couldn't find the perpetrator at first.

Only at the crime scene did the officers come across the racist and his victims. The man had painted swastikas on his assault rifle and written several hate manifestos for his parents and the police.

According to the New York Post, the man was committed to a psychiatric hospital against his will in 2017. He was involved in a domestic violence operation a year earlier but was not arrested.

Bitter: The act happened a few days before the 60th anniversary of the famous "I Have a Dream" speech by civil rights activist Martin Luther King Junior († 39). On August 28, 1963, in Washington D.C., King called to thousands: "I have a dream that one day this nation will rise and live up to the true meaning of its creed: We take for granted these truths, that all men are created equal."

King was shot dead by a racist on a motel balcony in 1968.
