‘Grammy Awards’ February 5, 2023, in Los Angeles
The 2023 GRAMMY awards? The Grammys will air live on CBS on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. On television the awards will be broadcast on the CBS Television Network. Hosted by comedian, writer, and actor Trevor Noah
This year there will be 91 different Grammy categories. The new territories to be honored beginning in 2023 are Non-Classical Songwriter of the Year, Best Americana Performance, Best Alternative Performance, Best Composed Soundtrack for Video Games and Other Interactive Media, and Best Poetry Recital Album".
How does a musician get nominated for a Grammy?
Every musician who wants to qualify in one of the 91 categories submits their work within the year.
After the song or album has been sorted into one of the categories, the voting members are sent the lists. Then, they can vote in the four main categories and nine other (out of 30 total) fields on their ballot. After that, the works that received the most votes in each category are officially nominated.
Who decides who wins a Grammy?
