DLNews Staff:
The now 18-year-old murdered his parents and three younger siblings in 2019. The verdict has been passed against the five-time killer: The boy from the state of Alabama has to go to prison for life and has no chance of parole.
Not a word of regret
Judge Chadwick Wise justified the harshest punishment permitted by law against the 14-year-old at the time of the crime, saying The murders were “horrible, disturbing, and tainted with thoroughly evil.”
According to media reports, Mason Sisk accepted the verdict without emotion. During the trial and his previous prison time, he showed no remorse or interest in coming to terms with his bloody crime.
District Attorney Brian Jones said after the sentence was announced: “I have prosecuted many people in my career, but only four or five scared me. Mason Sisk is definitely at the top of the list.”
The youngest victim was six months old.
Back in September 2019, Sisk killed his father, John (†38), his stepmother, Mary (†35), and the three younger siblings, Grayson (†6), Aurora (†4) and Colson (six months). All the bodies were in their beds and had been shot in the head.
When police arrived at the home in Elkmont, they encountered the teenager. He claimed to have been playing video games in the basement. He heard shots and saw a car speeding away. The story quickly turned out to be a fairy tale. He finally confessed to the massacre.
Possible motive for murder: Mason Sisk discovered that his father's wife, an elementary school teacher, was not his biological mother. Court documents revealed that the teenager had already tried to kill the 35-year-old: Sisk had mixed peanut butter into the coffee of the woman, who was highly allergic to peanuts.
