The 20th Annual Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards held a Kick-off special Hard Rock Hotel event on November 8th. This was an invitation only party honoring Terri Ketover with the 100 Women Award and also Glenn Ostergaard and David Kaplan with the Partners for Life Award. Members from these groups gathered together to honor those people who give so generously of their time and money.

A cocktail party was held in the lower level of the Hard Rock Hotel.Guests were escorted into the ballroom for a non-stop performance by The EDGE group. The group had 12 singers and dancers performed songs made famous by Prince, Beatles, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson and Heart to name just a few that they paid tribute to. There was a 5 piece band that did the music for the singers and dancers. There was no interruptions in the show and some of the singers started their performance in the audience.

The Steve Chase Gala raised money for the Desert AIDS Project that serves people living with HIV and AIDS. They provide support, medical care, Counseling, free HIV testing, and social services like food and housing. Troup Productions LLC was formed by Kim Waltrip and Jim Casey from Kim and Jim Productions and Trini Garza of Live It Up Productions that brought The EDGE to this event. The EDGE will be performing all over the Desert at various Venues next year. Their show is not to be missed.
